VHELP OUTDOOR CLASSROOM
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park recently completed the construction of a 30 ft x 30 ft open air outdoor instructional space. The purpose of this space is to provide a safe, comfortable, and learning-friendly environment for students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project included civil engineering services such as site preparation, installation of a sidewalk path and construction of a canopy system. The area also includes seating, benches, and tables for students to use during instruction.
This construction project has provided an invaluable space for students to engage in learning while remaining socially distanced. The outdoor classroom is equipped with quality amenities that are essential for students and faculty to utilize the space for educational activities and presentations. We are confident that the outdoor classroom will provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for the students and faculty of Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park for years to come.
