PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Birmingham Family Fun Center is a 35,000-square-foot, single-story commercial amusement facility designed to serve as an entertainment hub for the Five Points West community. The center boasts a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational options, including an indoor skating rink, bowling alley, and e-gaming. The outdoor areas span 25,000 square feet and feature dedicated spaces for Pickleball, Bocce Ball, a playground, an adult exercise area, and a multi-purpose green.

Intended as the focal point for a future mixed-use development, the Family Fun Center will enhance community engagement and serve as a key entertainment destination. DCS provided essential surveying and civil engineering services, including site assessments, grading and drainage design, and utility planning. Our contributions helped seamlessly integrate the indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring that the Family Fun Center becomes a dynamic anchor for the broader development vision.

The project emphasizes accessibility and connectivity, with plans to integrate seamlessly into the surrounding mixed-use development. Positioned to become a central gathering point, the Family Fun Center will foster both recreation and economic growth in the Five Points West area.
