ONE PRATT PARK
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
One Pratt Park emerged as a resilient symbol of hope and renewal following the destructive tornado outbreak in April 2011 that ravaged central Alabama, including the Pratt community. As part of the concerted recovery efforts, One Pratt Park was conceived and now serves as a cornerstone of community revitalization.
DCS played a pivotal role in the park’s development, focusing on critical aspects such as site grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility systems. These foundational elements ensure the park’s long-term viability and functionality, providing a solid infrastructure to support its diverse amenities and activities.
Amidst the park’s landscape of healing, extensive walking paths, an iconic tower, amphitheater, playgrounds, and other features offer spaces for leisure, recreation, and communal gatherings. Through thoughtful integration of sustainable practices and innovative design, One Pratt Park stands as a testament to resilience, embodying the enduring spirit and strength of the Pratt community.
